Tour of the "Six des Eaux Froides"

After leaving the dam wall, you will walk along the Tseuzier lake to the Étape de Lourantze. From there, you will first climb to the Lac de Téné, then you will cross the magnificent lapiaz, a geological feature of the region. 

The hike continues to the Hut of Audannes via the Col des Eaux-Froides. A break at the hut of Audannes will be well deserved before starting the descent to Les Rousses. It is also possible to envisage a night at the hut of Audannes, in order to spread out this magnificent hike over two days. Note: This mountain itinerary can be made difficult by the occasional presence of névés or fresh snow. Appropriate equipment is therefore recommended!

How to get there:

Reach the Tseuzier Dam by private vehicle or take advantage of the shuttle bus available between July and October, according to the operating days and times available here. Take advantage of the free ride with your Anzère Liberté Pass.
